The Church of England votes against the measure
Rejected by the House of Laity
A two-thirds majority was not achieved - 132 to 74
A vote for sanity and fairness.
Now for some prayerful listening on all sides
So a few more years of fighting. The Bishops have little credibility and that goes for the new ABC. The women will be seething and kicking themselves. I wish you well in your fight but it won;t make the CoE anymore catholic!
