Crown Nominations Commission appointment
It is reported by ACNS [here] that Dr Barry Morgan, the Archbishop of Wales and one of the most theologically liberal of the Communion's leaders, has been elected to the Crown Nominations Commission (the body which will nominate the next Archbishop of Canterbury) as the representative of the Primates of the Anglican Communion. That should fill the Global South with confidence.
