Reports from Forward in Faith

Audio reports from the Forward in Faith Assembly (from yesterday and today) can be found here:
There is (under the present circumstances) a significant theological contribution - definitely required listening  (both on the subject of the meaning of the Church  - he quotes at length from Dominus Jesus  - and where it subsists, and the contradictions inherent in the Church of England's current attempt to regard itself as more than just  part of the whole)  from the recently retired Bishop John Hind: "...I really do think that the dream of a non-papal Catholicism is exactly that - a dream..."

There was also an interesting report from Bishop Roald Flemestad of the Nordic Catholic Church ( in communion with the PNCC), who spoke of their struggles and hopes for the future in a not altogether dissimilar situation to our own.

Forward in Faith has announced a successor to its Director, Stephen Parkinson, who retires at the end of the year. The new Director will be Dr Colin Podmore, currently Clerk to the Church of England's General Synod. [here]
It's good to know that Keble men haven't all abandoned the faith of their fathers for the liberalism of the Zeitgeist .
