Two takes on the developing impasse in Anglicanism illustrated by the failure so far to appoint to Canterbury: -
this from John Millbank (After Rowan: Priorities for the Anglican Communion) to my mind, perhaps betraying the contradictions of 'Radical Orthodoxy', that it is neither really radical, in the sense of a true ressourcement, nor really orthodox - as in its embrace of women's ordination and of contemporary Anglican experimentation in terms of moral theology;
and, secondly, this ('Church of England casts the net wider') from, shall we say, a rather different angle!
