Almighty God, who hast built thy Church upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the head corner-stone: grant us so to be joined together in unity of spirit by their doctrine, that we may be made an holy temple acceptable unto thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Your prayers are asked for the new Dean of Monmouth, Fr Jeremy Winston, SSC, who has been  struck down with illness so soon after his installation.
The Diocese of Monmouth's website has this information:

"Please continue to hold the Dean in your prayers. He has been diagnosed as having a brain tumour and is starting a 6-week course of intensive radiotherapy. He is not to have visitors but messages can be left on http://stmarysprioryabergavenny.wordpress.com/2011/10/25/fr-jeremy-winston-update-251011/   

Please remember Fr Jeremy in your prayers and at the altar as he begins treatment.
