It's a bitterly cold Easter Octave here, with temperatures hovering only just above freezing and a strong and cutting north-easterly breeze. The clocks may have gone forward, but Spring is very late in coming.
But, today, at least, the sun is shining in a cloudless sky. Saying the early mass today, ad orientem, the light was streaming into the Lady Chapel through the Resurrection Window above the altar...
"Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father..."
